Mammoth distills craft spirits that capture the essence of our Northern Michigan home. Overlooking the glacial waters of Torch Lake, we are inspired by the beauty that surrounds us in every season.

Our 650 liter copper pot still from Goppingen, Germany produces vodka, gin, rum whiskey, bourbon and brandy. We use locally grown grains and botanicals including corn and rye from Harbor Springs, lavender from Petoskey, apples and pears from Bellaire, cherries from Traverse City and white pine from Central Lake.

MAMMOTH GIN
With a flavor palette that reflects the pure northern Michigan environment, Old Dam Gin is blended from six individually distilled liquid fractions which deliver a wonderful complexity of lavor. The initial note introduces the traditional juniper, which is quickly followed by an herbal sage with a hint of the orange and lemon peel for balance. The unique addition of Torch Lake white pine offers a wisp of crisp freshness. The very long finish underscored by lavender rolls around on the tongue almost indefinitely.

MAMMOTH VODKA
Mammoth Dry Stack Vodka has a genuine mouth feel and slight toothiness, punctuated by hint of sweetness from grain.
Two types of yeast are used in the fermentation of our Vodka mash to maximize yield and create complexity in our finished spirit. Dry Stack Vodka is passed over 66 plates on our Christian CARL vodka column and finished to 95.5% purity.

MAMMOTH RUM
Mammoth Wood Boat Rum is amber colored with vanilla, warm fruit and brown spice notes in a medium body that has a satisfying vaporous finish.
Our Rum is distilled using black strap molasses from Louisiana sugar cane juice. We use a seven-day fermentation to produce a clean, balanced distillate and finish it in once-used bourbon barrels to smooth the rum and add complexity.

MAMMOTH WHISKEY
Mammoth Whiskey has an elegant, warm bee’s wax nose with notes of fresh shucked corn and honey backed by a smooth, low-alcohol finish.
It was distilled and aged for five years in Kentucky, and finished at our Central Lake facility in once-used Grand Cru Merlot barrels from Bonobo Winery in Traverse City, MI (exclusively in our
Central Lake retail store until April when it will be available in retail stores).
